About Peak Yoga

yoga studentPeak Yoga is committed to you getting the most out of your yoga practice with us, which is why we personally assist every student in every class.  At our studio you’ll find all- level classes which welcome beginners and advanced students alike.  With an acute focus on alignment, breath, and the mind-body connection, you’ll find classes which are physically challenging and mentally rejuvenating.  We welcome all students regardless of experience, flexibility or physical fitness and offer modifications throughout our classes to accommodate all bodies.  Please read class descriptions for more information on what to expect when you step onto the mat with us. Peak Yoga will teach proper alignment of your body in even the most complex poses. With proper alignment you will find greater ease and depth of the poses while protecting joints from pain and injury.
Peak Yoga classes incorporate breathing techniques which will both calm your mind and invite your body to deepen your experience with yoga. Taken “off the mat” and into your daily life, these techniques can be used to cultivate emotional stability and openness.
Our bodies respond to our daily thoughts and feelings of both the conscious and subconscious mind. Both positive and negative thoughts manifest in the body in different ways. Peak Yoga will deepen your understanding between your state of mind and your body, and vice versa. You'll learn how to use your body and your breath to release both physical and emotional resistance.
